Our response to COVID-19 Pandemic

This page will provide updates to our Salon's response to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic.

As of June 1st, our salon has re-opened for services. Please read the following information regarding how your experience at AshleyTaylor salon will change:

As we re-open on June 1st, you'll notice that your experience at the Salon will be different. Health and safety of our guests has always been a top priority at AshleyTaylor. Our profession is governed by the Board of Cosmetology. We follow high sanitation rules & regulations guidelines. In addition to our own safety & sanitation protocols, making AshleyTaylor Salon one of the safest places to receive personal care services. We  ask for your patience as we navigate through all these new processes and procedures.

Here are some things that you can expect upon booking your first  appointment:

1) Please know we are doing our best to rebook everyone as quickly as possible. Since we are at 25% of our fire code capacity, we won't be operating at 100% for the near term.

2) If you are in a high risk group, we recommend you schedule a morning appointment and make sure you let us know that when you are booking so we can ensure a time with less people in the salon.

  • I understand the need to close for social distancing. Are you open for retail product sales like Aveda product sales?
We are working on getting guidance from the MN Board of Cosmetology on our ability to be open for retail sales. As soon as we can figure that out, we'll announce on Facebook, Instagram and on our website.
  • I have an Unlimited Tanning Package! Will you extend the package for the time you are closed?
Yes! Once we are able to offer tanning services, we will add the number of days we were closed to your current package.
  • I'd like to support local businesses during this difficult time. How can I do that when you are closed?
We have always had wonderful support from our community, and we are so blessed with the response and generosity during this time. One way you can help us is to purchase gift certificates online for future use. You can buy them here in any amount! Another way you can support is to leave a 5-star review for us on Google or Facebook! We'd love to hear your comments about the services you've received. Reviews will be very important for us to build our business back up once this closure is over. If you'd like to leave a 5-star review on Google, click here Our Facebook page is located here: Our Instagram page is located here: Last but not least, follow our pages and share/repost our posts as we make our way through this uncertain time. Your support is amazing and we are so very grateul for it!
  • Are you closing because an employee got sick?
Absolutely not! We are closing based on guidance from the MN Board of Cosmetology and because we want to ensure the continued health and well being of our team members and clients. We have checked in with all staff and at the time of closure, no one was reporting symptoms commonly associated with the coronavirus.
